About our LogoSymbols are a universal means of expression. Regardless of culture or geographic location, certain symbols have similar if not exactly the same meaning across the human spectrum. Carl Jung pioneered the investigation of symbols as archetypal attributes of the collective unconscious. He realised that the universe projects itself to our unconscious minds symbolically, utilising imagery to transmit ideas that language cannot. Symbols are the universal language.
Dating back to Hindu myth, the Nautilus Shell was mentioned as a symbol of many things in the creation. It is a symbol for the inner beauty of nature, a symbol of life and internal harmony. The chambers of the nautilus shell are symbolic of the stages each individual passes through life. The spiral itself is a symbol of creation, movement, fluidity and evolution. It reveals the cyclical nature of life and the relationship between unity and multiplicity. With no beginning and no end, the spiral curls eternally inward towards the Source of creation, and eternally outward with Source's continual self-creation. As a path, the spiral is both the journey home to who we really are, and the journey to be one with Source, for they are one and the same. The Nautilus has survived relatively unchanged for 450 million years and is one of the only shells to survive from the Dinosaurs era. This is why the Nautilus is sometimes referred to as a living fossil. In a state of equilibrium with its environment, this nocturnal being spends most of its time at great oceanic depths, responding to both lunar and solar cycles. The Nautilus shell, lined with mother-of-pearl, grows into increasingly larger chambers throughout its life and so has become a symbol for expansion and renewal. The Nautilus Shell inspires us toward increased awareness of the innate healing potential pervading all life, and to embrace concepts of balance, health, and well-being in the world in which we live. The shell unfolds as its occupant outgrows each chamber, in a series of steps following the Fibonacci sequence. As the shell expands, its shape begins to approximate the Phi spiral; a key element of Sacred Geometry displaying perfect mathematical proportion. The Nautilus shell is one of the known shapes that represent the golden mean number, also known as PHI - 1.6180339.... This number is without an arithmetic solution, the decimals just keep on going into infinity without ever repeating themselves. The unique thing about this number is that it can be found incorporated in all known organic structures. From the bone structure of human beings to the seed pattern of a sunflower to the spiral of a sea shell, the phi proportion is there, underlying all biological structures, seeming to be a geometrical blueprint for life itself. Plato called this value - "The key for the universe physics".
